Dear Friends and Family,

As many of you know I volunteer on the Associate Board for St. Vincent
de Paul Center. SVDPC is a non profit organization located right in
Lincoln Park and provides services to the working poor of Chicago.
The center provides day care, tutoring services, senior citizen
programs as well as homeless outreach programs. The mission of the
center is to strengthen and empower those in need to reach their
greatest potential.

The Associate Board is made up of young professionals in our 20's and
30's. As a board we fundraise and volunteer at the center.

On May 12, 2012 we will be hosting the Second Annul House of Cards
Event, which I had the privilege of co-chairing this year. The House
of Cards event is a casino night to fundraise for the center, offering
prizes to the highest chip winner (last year there were iPads, Bulls
tickets, etc.) There will also be a silent auction and raffle. The
event is from 6:30-10:00 at the center. The cost is $90 a piece, or
$150 if you buy in pairs. That includes an open bar, hors d'oeuvres,
and casino chip! This year we also increased the event so there will
be more tables, a DJ/dance floor and VIP rooms!

of Cards Event!
Tickets have going fast and there is a capacity limit so if you
haven't bought your tickets get them quickly!!

The event will include:
