The landing page for that is the homepage. You linked the official rules page, which is too boring to be shared widely.

But we need to update sm graphics for homepage, you are absolutely right.

Ok, so I linked the official rules page, being boring or not depends on the person, I like rules, I love to bend rules and that's what Lessig Exploratory Comite is attempting to do with a #ReferendumPresident in order to #FixDemocracyFirst.

But, going back to the golden ticket campaign

In the website it's not clickable

all this text should be clickable and send to the "promo"

Help us get to $1,100,000 for
a chance to win The Golden Ticket*

Hi Manuel, I'm not sure I agree since there's already a big clickable "pledge now" call-to-action button right above it.

The narrative of the Pledge Now is for those that are sure... the Golden Ticket is for curious folks that may be interested in going to the debate... and as the golden ticket rules say, its not necessary to contribute in order to participate

How do visitors reach this URL? https://lessig2016.us/golden-ticket-entry/

(+ teamlessigtech) It's probably better to keep the entry form harder to reach so that more people are compelled to donate.

Correct Barry!

That link is to the rules which are quite boring as A pointed out... I'm suggesting that the Golden Ticket image takes visitors to https://lessig2016.us/golden-ticket-entry/ ...

There's a link to it from the page https://lessig2016.us/golden-ticket-rules/ which is linked from the homepage where it says READ THE OFFICIAL RULES OF THE GOLDEN TICKET†

Is it? That's exactly the opposite this campaign is rallying for. We want to make it easier for citizens to participate equally... let's do A/B testing on that and let the numbers decide instead!

This campaign is about equalizing citizen participation in government. How does hiding the entry form oppose that?

The point of the contest is to solicit more donations to reach the stretch goal. Making it easier to by-pass the donation would subvert that goal.

Current goal is step 2:

Fundraising is an ongoing task that will continue but the golden ticket is a way to give supporters back also it would be a great form to engage in SM if the page were more socialmedia friendly...

Support doesn't come just in a green back boogie form!

It seems clear that the Golden Ticket contest is a fund-raising strategy. I agree that we should make the page more social media friendly and that there are other important forms of support besides money.
