Subject: Pst Toni's Appreciation 29th Nov

Hi Levine,

Great suggestion - happy to lend a hand with others on this. 29th works for me too. Count me in!

The appreciation shindig sounds like a great idea. Just to kick off the discussions, I propose the weekend of 29th Nov. Something in the afternoon going into the early evening. We can settle on a venue once we have an indication of the guys we expect to come, right?

Eugene

Dear All,

I hope this finds you all well, Im sure we are all saddened by the streaming news yet with the same breath we are exited and happy for our Leader Pastor Toni Mungai on his upcoming appointment.

i feel we need to appreciate his devoted efforts towards couching & mentoring of the life groups under area code west. This come as a request to all of us to have a small gathering to thank and encourage him for the bigger task ahead.

im writing this to ask for your opinion and proposals on venue, dates and details of the gathering. a Nyama plot would be nice. who is in on this with me? please circulate to your respective life groups.

Good morning Team,

I believe that you are all well kept of the Lord and that Season 3 has been a blessing so far to you and those you lead in your small groups. I have been well and I thought to share an update regarding some major transitions that are underway in our LifeGroups ministry department.

Several months ago an opportunity to serve in a bigger role at one of the Nairobi Chapel daughter churches was presented to me for consideration. After discussions, deliberations and much prayer I decided to take it up and now I will officially be moving over to NAIROBI CHAPEL ONGATA RONGAI as the Associate Pastor in charge of Discipleship and Spiritual Formation.

This was not an easy decision to make considering the place where we as a congregation are at, and more specifically with all the efforts we were putting to consolidate and regroup after the move to Hill City. However, we believe the Lord has gone before us and has also prepared another pastor, a man I really respect, to carry on the work we have been doing together, and even move it to a new level. This is Pastor Thomas Omollo (cc'd her on this email). Many of you have interacted with him, as he is a strong part of the Care Pastors' team. Pls welcome him to AreaCode WEST (....the best AreaCode to be in).

My family and I shall be saying our farewell to the Mavuno Church congregation this Sunday 9th November, 2014 as we are commissioned to our new assignment and I felt it is the honourable thing to do to share this news with you as leaders before the rest of the congregations. I really do hope to see many of you then as we move immediately to Nairobi Chapel Ongata Rongai (also known as NCOR) from the 16th November 2014

Having been part of the initial families that were sent out to come start this congregation in August 2005, we shall dearly miss all those that God has brought our way these last 9 years, but we believe that He has great and exciting plans for us all in the future.

May I commend you all into the hands of our Lord and Saviour and encourage you to keep loving and serving Him, as He will bring to completion that which He begun in you. May U never tire to serve His people, and may the rewards that belong to those who remain faithful to the call be truly manifest in your lives. (Malachi 3:16-18)

I wish you all every blessing as you have been a blessing to me.
