 hi
 
 if i am delete the part(assembly or component) it should delete the design document also,
the part name is same as design document, whether it is possible,! because i am using the OTB delete Item menu for delete ing the part, delete item is non override able message.
I am not able to do the customization also now .........(becs it is non override able )
i am writting the following messg to delete the design docment....
but after i am selete assembly and delete using delete item 
 it  delete the design document but it also showing that (from delete item messge ) the assembly is deleted  but if  i am query that assembly that is present ,,,,, but design document is not present ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
kindly help me............................................urgent..............................................


one more thing.....................................
In ThinClient if i am   revise assembly its show the update infom wnd......that time the revise is created its asking the some of the information is going to go update for new rev....
if im cancle it should cancle the revison (this  is correctly working in classic clientt but not in thinclient) im added the delete  business msg to cancle button so if user cancle the update window it cancle the revis
but before that it asking  the conformation to delete so i need to if user press the cancle it should not show any waring or any other infomation directly it should delete the revision ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
i need this also.,...................
pl help me..........................

Hi,

The right way is to add new delete in the menu which will delete the Assembly and the Design Document.
I can do the customization if you want, but I will have to charge for the work.

Try extending Pre and Post delete messages. I don't remember exact
message name. Try looking similar message in api guide.

If you are not able to find the message, let me know. I'll go through
the API document for you.
For revise....
Check the code for do revise post. U'll find something there.

For deleting design document I think the only solution is to add a new option for delete...there only u can do tht....and for part update option go through api reference..

You can do it by BIDC, which is simple and perfect.
Later when you feel you do not need that functionality you can just ether modify the BICD or delete it.

It will save money and effort.

Whats your exact requirement in thin client?
