Teamcenter Enterprise is a PLM system owned by Siemens PLM. It is a very powerful and extremely configurable PLM system than has extensive Workflow, Doc Mgmt, Configuration Mgmt and many other capabilities. It is currently in maintenance and is being sunsetted in favor of the Teamcenter Unified platform.
From a customization standpoint it uses a "C" based proprietary object oriented server engine. The server side is configured by "MODeL" a proprietary schema language and "Method" which uses "C" based code to define business logic. The web-tier is Java, XML, and JSP (J2EE) and uses an MVC type thin client interface. It is very configurable.
Hope that helps, otherwise you would want to take some courses. It is not something you learn by looking at it.
Regards,
Jason
