1) Coaches background checks supposedly take a day or two according to what John Houston, Hudson Valley FLL director, has heard.

2) How far are families willing to travel?  What days and what start times?

a)  Sokhan - Monday far (Warwick) can start 3 or 3:30 (later time more reasonable re traffic);

                       Wednesday closer (Mahwah, Oakland, Rutherford) for a start time of 6:30;

                       Friday near or far, but start time varying 3 or 4:30, and not 10/9 and 10/30.

                       Weekends near or far, have no regularly scheduled restraints; would be nice to have Sundays free, or if Sundays necessary then afternoon.

Reshmee Cuman called me.  I am adding her availability information below.

Tonight, Friday October 2nd, Reshmee will be looking into the rooms available at the newly refurbished Mahwah Library, which Julie Good also had mentioned to me, and what requirements there may be other than having a Mahwah resident as host.

Hi Olha and Rashmee and any other parents of team members,

I am not sure yet what we are going to do.  Paul has considered the situation and and while he is open to coaching close to home, he doesn't have the time in his schedule to travel down to Mahwah, especially on weekdays  but also on the weekends.  In the past, when he would take Aiden to Airmont, he used the time while Aiden was at FLL to prepare his lesson plans, read student papers etc. for his work.  If the meetings were here in Warwick he could manage the time for coaching.  So, let me know what you think about this.

I appreciate the time you and Paul have put into thinking about this.  Let's see what we get.

Rekha, did you get anything about location for Warwick?  Local team vs Bricktron?

Please correct me if this summary is wrong, and please add days/times available:

Woods:  1) If Paul Woods coaches, only in Warwick.

                2)  If someone else coaches, another location would work (?)

What do you all think?  Who is up to coaching?

Will we split to different teams for a year?  (Nestor not interested in not having even one of his interested teammates!  :) )

Reshmee reports that the at the Mahwah library we would be welcome to come in and use a room for free, but if we want to reserve then there would be a procedure and a cost.

Regarding Warwick, having her son carpooled would be ok, but he now has tennis till 6:30 on Mondays.  Weekends to Warwick would be ok depending on sports schedule.
