Job Description:
Corporate product and support engineers provide assistance to clients who have purchased a company's hardware or software products. Technical support engineers are troubleshooters, providing help to their organization's computer users. In doing so, they are frequently called upon to investigate and resolve problems.
The engineer should have worked on any of the server/ Desktop hardware support. Good to have HP Proliant, Dell poweredge, IBM X Series hardware support.
Minimum exp of 1 plus years can apply.
The tasks of these engineers could include one or more of the following:
• Helping customers install newly purchased software
• Training customers in the use of software applications
• Customizing software or hardware
• Answering technical questions
• Identify recurrent problems and help users resolve them
• Oversee the daily performance of their company's computer systems
Certifications such as MCSE, CNE, MSP, Cisco or similar certifications would be preferred.
It is a voice support and to work 24/7; Must have very good verbal and written communication skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s, Diploma, Master’s, degree in a technical discipline (e.g. computer science, information technology, engineering, math, physics, etc.)
