Experience Required(Description) :
• EMC Storage - L2 - Experience in EMC CLARiiON, Celerra, EDL and Symm/DMX Storage Arrays.
• Candidate should have experience in storage administration like Creating RAID Groups, binding LUNs, and Integrating Hosts like Windows, HP-UX, Solaris and AIX. Configuring HBA Cards using both host and Vendor utilities like elxcfg, lputil, HBAnyware, SANsurfer and SCLI. Configuring Zoning and Activating the zone sets. Storage Provisioning through Navisphere Manager, Symcli and ECC.
• Configuring Meta-Luns.
• Taking Backup of Symmetrix Configuration file and Volume Logix database and restoring the same.
• Configuring Mutlipathing Softwares like EMC Powerpath. Configuring Failover and applying load balancing policies in Powerpath.
• Configuring Reserved LUN Pool, SNAPVIEW Snapshots & Clones, Time-finder Mirror, and Time-finder Snap & Clones.
• Troubleshooting the issues related to RLP & SAVE Devices and monitoring the utilization of same.
• Coordinating with EMC for Flare Code, Enginutiy Code and DART up gradation and resolving product issues like SP Issues.
• Creating weekly and monthly reports, escalating unresolved problems/pending tickets to next level.
• Candidates should possess knowledge on performance tuning, VSAN configuration and ISL configuration.
• Taking backup of fabric configuration and restoring the same.
Roles & Responsiblities
:
Infrastructure Support - Storage - Works independently towards providing support for escalated incident/problem management requirements (L2 support). Expert on different Storage subsystems (EMC, IBM, HP, NetApp etc) and basic OS administration (Ex. Solaris, AIX, HPUX,Linux &Windows etc) , resolves at least 80% of calls routed to him/her , without having to dispatch to service partners. In-depth knowledge of troubleshooting problems and knowledge of storage replication.
