Thesis looks good. You guys did quite a lot of work getting it to this point. It should certainly be fine as a Gemstone draft. That said, there are a number of things that need to be addressed in an up-dated version to send to the discussants. I’ll try and get comments by the end of the day.
In a quick scan here are some first thoughts:
There is not a single image for the first 30 pages, then not many throughout. The project did not happen in a vacuum but was devised for sound reasons. Justification for this work would be better served with pictures. In intro and Lit review - How about a picture of a bass? How about showing a Blazer TO image (with citation) showing endocrine disruption in field collected fish – the justification for the whole project? How about an illustration of the Chesapeake Bay? How about the inside of a poultry house, or maybe a giant pile of Chicken $#!% - the other justification for the project? How about images showing E2 and E1 structures? In methods - How about a picture of a BLYES plate with color change? How about someone working at the bench? In results – Where are the TO images? These NEED to be in the body of the document.
Along those lines, the table summarizing TO needs to be back in results (not sure why it was moved to appendices). It should come back and pictures of oocytes should be included.
Many graphs still have ng/mL as units. These MUST be changed to ng/L before the document goes to discussants.
Figure captions must stay with figures. After editing we need to be sure these are together, not separated across pages. Best approach is actually to put all of the images in the back on their very own pages in order (after References/before appendices).
More later when I have time

Ah ha! My first version didn’t load properly so I didn’t see all the pictures at the end. These are a good start. Some should be moved to the body of the document where they can help illustrate what was done, why and how it was done, and what happened. By “moved”, I mean mention each figure (Figure XX) at the appropriate place in the text but put all figures in order at the end.
