Hi all,

Wish you all a very happy new year!

For the past 18-20 months, this email thread and our group has been dormant. We believe, we owe you an explanation at the very least on what has been going on. 

In the academic year, 2010-2011, we supported 12 kids near Gachibowli. We had also diverted our funds to few medical cases that were directed to us. We were supporting the medical expenses of a  In the academic year 2011- 2012, most of the kids and their parents had moved out of Hyderabad and we ended up supporting only 4 kids that year. For the academic year 2012-2013, we haven't been supporting any kids, primarily due to lack of enough resources to take care of the kids. Most of the core members of the team have moved out of Hyderabad and it has been difficult for the remaining few to take care of this work. 

Thus, we have reached a conclusion that it is best if we not ask you all for any more funds since we are not involved in any major activity. We have close to Rs. 69,000/- in Samvedana's account and we will be donating that amount to Sphoorti Foundation in Hyderabad. All our future donations will also be redirected to the same place. 

Lastly, we thank each and every one of you from the bottom of our hearts for being so supportive of our efforts since 2009 till date. We cannot express how unhappy this decision makes us, but it doesn't seem right on our part to go ahead with Samvedana while not making the deserved contributions from our end. We are hopeful that very soon we will be able to get back on track, build a stronger team, design clearer goals and realize them.

Sad. But it's the right thing to do.

Samvedana has been incredible for more reasons that I can list :) This particular decision is historic. 

I look forward to seeing the new beginning.
