help for finding out the right NGOs

Hello Samvedana,

This is Snigdha.
We (The make my day team) need your help for finding out the credible
NGOs (or any useful contacts for that matter) that work for saving the
lives of critically ill people . I have contacted Deepthi a few days
ago regarding the same and she has suggested me to post here.

Background :
We are planning to set up a platform for raising donations to help the
really poor patients who could not pay for their operation charges.
This is just to help the existing NGOs [the ones already working on
similar lines] get the required money for a patient.
We have a specific due-diligence team which takes care of verifying
the authenticity of the recipient and the credibility of the NGO.
Our basic idea is to provide good references for those people willing
to donate on their special occasions .

savepoorlives is one such NGO (http://www.savepoorlives.com/
aboutus.aspx) . We have already talked to them and they agreed on
giving us the profiles and accepted our conditions for the
duediligence part. But we currently have the following problems
1. Starting out with just one NGO might affect our credibility as we
want to emphasize the fact that we are totally independent of the
organizations.
2. As all of us are working , it is a little difficult to sync our
timings with those of the patients in bangalore (our due diligence
team in bang is smaller) who in general leave the city in less than a
day after their registration in a hospital.
