Karmayog Seva Mela 2011: This event will be bringing in as many as 60 NGOs under one roof and people can see a lot of good work being done to several beneficiaries who are otherwise underpriveleged. Orphanages, School for the mentally challenged, Organizations that support the disabled, organizations that work on environmental awareness, mahila mandalis and the like are all expected to come and participate. Some may sell their products and some may share their experiences through presentations and brochures, some will have their volunteers to explain what they do, many would engage visitors through small games and quizzes, etc.
Coming into a mela and leaving empty stomached would not be nice - so there will be a food court to satisfy one's palate and also the stomach. The proceeds from the mela will go to the participating organizations directly where it is offered to.
In the evenings on both the days there are variety entertainment programs planned - music program, small skits, plays, dance programs.
Visitors may give ANYTHING that they wish to donate - Groceries, Clothes, Books, Money, Anything that one may want to give away (old clothes, paper, utensils,electronic waste - almost anything that that some who is underpriveleged could make use of)
Corporate executives may want to do a first level understanding of different services being offered and they may discuss with the organizations that appeal to them based on their causes and work being carried out and choose to support through their CSR activities.

What has been the progress so far:
There have been a significant amount of developments so far.
We have 40+ NGOs having confirmed their participation in the mela. If you have any more suggestions of NGOs whom you consider would benefit by participating in the mela, you may kindly advise them to contact one of the committee members listed below.
In addition to the two big covered areas where we plan to have 60 stalls for NGOs, Zorastrian Club has kindly offered us the badminton court (indoor) for the food court which provides us comfortable room for all our activities on October 7 and 8.
A popular playback singer has promised to perform in our mela. Additionally, we will try and organize some more programs to make the evenings more enjoyable. NGO representatives and volunteers could put up some interesting skits, plays and music and dance programs during the variety entertainment duration - 5 PM to 8 PM.
We have started receiving donations which is encouraging and should not hamper our progress on going ahead with the arrangements as planned to accommodate 60 stalls at Zorastrian Club.
ADP and Broadridge have offered a couple of hoardings for use for 2 weeks starting this weekend specifically for our Sevamela.
Broadridge additionally have offered to give us the FM slot in 92.7 Big FM radio station for 2 weeks - they would play the advertisement/announcement of Karmayog Seva Mela for 2 weeks.
I am attaching the .jpg files of the posters and leaflets for the mela. We shall be getting the printed ones ready in a day or two.

The venue is SEVA office, Kowtha Swarajya Vihar, 10 Padmaraonagar, Secunderabad. Landmark for the place is Opposite to Fresh Supermarket in Padmaraonagar Secunderabad. And it is the compound where we have Kowtha Kamakoti Kalyana Nilayam.
