Hi,

Please go through the mail below. I got to know about this medical case from one of my friend. The boy  really has a great passion to become a engineer but he should undergo liver transplantation and doctors say it costs 25-35 lakhs. But they are not in a position to support that much amount and requesting for help. The boy also lost his father and his mother is trying to save him.

I visited the patient when he was admitted in the hospital in hyderabad and spoke to them.  Till now, I from my friends collected 21,932.20 and gave the amount to them.
They stay in vijaywada and  came to hyderabad for treatment and the operation is scheduled after 2-3 months till then the boy should use some medicines. He now got discharged and went back to vijayawada.

Can you help them in any way? I know this is a big amount but if  2 or 3 organizations unite and collect money, hope we can help. The boy's mother is also trying in many other ways for money.

Or if you have  information regarding any hospital which is collaborated with trusts and dealt with these type of cases, please let me know so that operation cost will be reduced.

I am also trying to get money by circulating this message to all of my friends.
All the documents and reports are attached with this mail.

Thanks,
Ramya Deepika

Hi Ravi,

Thanks for the information. Do we have any way to contact satya sai hospital to collect details regarding this. Does any one of you know about this?

And I hope  it is better to collect money within samvedana first(if any one transfers amount belonging to your group or know this info  from your group)  and send that amount so that we can have idea about the amount collected.

This is just to keep track of the amount collected, so that we can seek help from some more.

Thanks.

Ramya,
AFAIK Satya Sai Hospitals do not have the facilities to perform Liver/Kidney transplant. We had approached them earlier, when we had received a medical case related to kidney transplant. Since you met the kid, can you tell us which hospital has he been admitted to. And does that hospital have facilities to perform Liver transplant. And also, check if the the kid's mother has approached other big hospitals like NIMS/Apollo and what was their take on this?

To my knowledge, there is one hospital in Hyderabad which performs Liver transplant. The name of the hospital is Global Hospital. But I am not sure if they consider special cases like this. If anyone knows any doctor who works in Global Hospitals, kindly talk to them and let us know if they can perform this operation at a minimal cost.

I have shared a link of a spread sheet along with this email, and anyone who wishes to make donation can go ahead. Kindly make an entry of your name(if you want to reveal it) and the amount donated(so that we can keep a track of the amount collected)

Ravi Sir

Thank you for your prompt reply and humble donation. As Deepti said, if you have already transferred the money, no problem. Else you may transfer it through Samvedana's account.

Others,
Request everyone to spread the word - either through facebook or twitter or word of mouth. Kindly do forward it to your folks at work place. Do let me know if you have trouble accessing the link.

Thank you.

Dear Prasad Garu,

Can you give us some more details of Dr. Yelchuri Venkat Rao? Does he deal with liver transplant cases?
And if you know him personally, can you contact him on our behalf and brief him about this case?

Thanks in anticipation.

Hi Prateek,

He is conducting a program in MAA TV, Andariki Ayurvedam and also he is a Ayurvedic doctor. Many are getting benefited with his program, what I am thinking is he may provide medicine without going for liver transplantation, I don't know him personally. If you people can go to him and explain about situation he will suggest accordingly. If he got medicine for this we can cure with very little amount of money. We can try our luck at below site also. My main intention is if we can find a solution out of corporate hospitals our effort will reduce. Further also please try Ayurvedic or Homeo remedies if not go for corporate.

Hi Prateek,

The hospital name is SAI VANI HOSPITAL, Domalguda, Opp Indira Park, Hyderabad. The boy's mother  first contacted a doctor in vijayawada and he suggested this hospital. I think they did not approach any other big hospitals for this. I'll confirm this from them and let you know.

prasad,
I'll try to contact him and find if he can do anything regarding this.

Thanks,
Ramya

[Update]

I spoke to the kid's mother and this is what she had to say.

+ Yesterday/day before they got a time slot on some news channel named HMTV through which they could appeal to the people. So far she was able to collect around 1.5 lakhs. (Can someone check if the link is available on youtube? So that we can circulate it amongst our friends)
+ I asked her if she applied for a loan, to which she replied yes. The loan amount is 3-4 lakhs. (Having put her house on mortgage)
+ The number of doctors who will be involved in the operation is around 20-30 doctors and the operation could go long for 13hrs or more. That explains why there is a need of such huge amount.
+ Currently the mother and her kid stay at Vijaywada.

Hariharan,

Does Jan Sandesh news channel have a team in Vijaywada? If yes, they can approach them directly. If not, I think its better that we wait for them to come down to Hyderabad and let this interview thing happen.

Amount Collected

Hi,

There is one such costly case handled by ndtv. We can contact them for help but if any one of your friends know a person from ndtv, it will be very easy to approach or talk about this case.  I got to know this from one of the organization member and he also told that an year back ndtv helped for one  similar  liver case.

Hi,

Today Boy's mother called me and and said that the boy's condition is not good and should be operated in a month. I got some details about 2 trusts which can help.

1) Raghava lawrance trust(Chennai)  -- I contacted them but they could not understand what I say as they only know tamil, so I asked one of my friend who knows tamil to contact them.

2) Surya Trust(Chennai) -  I did not find their contact details yet. Need to find out them.

She also told that the total amount collected till now was Rs 7 Lakhs.

Thanks,
Ramya Deepika
