Spring Event Mt Vernon

I just spoke to the Gal at Mt Vernon Country Club. They are wanting to
put the spring benefit event on the calendar. They want to have plenty
of time to advertise etc.. They have asked us to look at April and May
to see what days make work out the best. They want to give us prime
days (Saturdays). They really would like you to make a guest
appearance for the kids. The target audience is the community of
Golden, Evergreen and Mt Vernon country Club members. Opie Gone Bad
already said he would play, but we need to give him a date/time. I am
thinking an afternoon early evening event?

An idea for the theme "Field of Dreams/School of Dreams"

Purpose of the event: To provide every child in the school with a VP.
If we raise additional money, it will go towards the schools building
fund.

That is so great. I will look at the 2009 schedule and get back to
you with some possible dates. I am all aboard. Hopefully I can get
some teammates to participate in the event also.

I will look at the days we have off in April and May so we can confirm
some dates and times.

I do like the theme. We can play around with more names because i
cant come up with a better one right now. You may have hit it right
on the nose! How many people can we get to fully fund the
tournament? Can we also reach out to get sponsors for the event to
help fund each hole.

One idea came to me for the name of the event.

"Golf Fore (PUN intended) the Rocky Mountain Deaf School of Dreams"
"Tee of Fore the Rocky Mountain Deaf School"
"Swing Fore the Rocky Mountain Deaf School"
"Golden Tee Fore Rocky Mountain Deaf School" (Golden Tee is the name
of an arcade video game)
