We are asking that, with very short notice, you help us to fill the Chapel with students, staff, faculty and friends who are committed to service, international affairs, or who would just like to show their support for an amazing program (at which Dean Richardson will moderate).

 

A handful of national leaders from the Obama administration have chosen to come to Howard due to our commitment to service as a whole and, in particular, our commitment to Haiti.  Among them are the Director of the US Peace Corps, Aaron Williams, and CEO of the Corporation for National and Community Service, Patrick Corvington.  The discussion will take place at Rankin Chapel on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 from 2pm to 4pm (reception to follow), entitled, Impact Your World: A Conversation with Obama Administration Officials on Service.  We are hoping that students will take advantage of this opportunity for networking and information and to demonstrate our commitment to service. We hope to see you and ask that you email, text and tweet, and talk about it to help spread the word.
