As we did last year, we will be fitting "trackers" to every Platu in this years ToG.
The units will be available for collection at the exit to the marina bar every morning. Please collect your unit and hang it on the mooring cleat, portside, near the transom.
At the end of racing each day return the unit to the collection board for data uploading and battery charging.
You can track your course for the day on the ToG section of the tracker web site www.tracker.com. We will give you a password.
This allows you to follow every boat's movements for the day and gives a complete analysis of how you progressed.
 
This system is very generously provided by the Singapore Management University and controlled by our very good friend Andrew Tam.
Andrew has gone to a lot of effort to provide this service for you and crews were astounded at the information it can provide. It was even used in THE ROOM on a few occasions to help analyse crews movements.
 
Remember to take them out of your pocket before you go out on the town at night !!
