Race Week Ride Post -- Jan. 16, 2014

Hey Cycllists,

The Saturday event this week is the Megan Babb Memorial Race.  If you have already volunteered to help, you will need to show up at the Copperas Cove Civic Center, Avenue B in Copperas Cove between 7:45 and 8 a.m.  If you have not already volunteered, and would like to help, give Liz at the Copperas Cove Chamber of Commerce a call at 547-7571 to get your name on the list.  This annual event, that was actually brought to Copperas Cove by Team Roadkill members some years ago, offers all of us a chance to "give back" to cycling.  See you Saturday morning.

ps-- Next Saturday we'll do the River Road (by special request from Shell Suino).  Wheels will roll at 9 a.m. from the back lot of the Kempner Brick Oven.

FYI, this is out in the future, but the "Lampasas Hillacious Bike Tour" is a new ride, 12 April in Lampasas.

I'll miss it, will be in the Houston to Austin MS150 ride.
