Hey Everyone,

Starting on Monday next week, we'll be turning on a new feature which will affect email reporting and visitor activities.

Any clicked, tracked link in an email will record an email opened visitor activity, so even if the prospect doesn't have image downloads turned on, clicking a link will record the 'open' activity and run the completion actions as well.

This should resolve cases where we see more clicked links than opens in a report for an email blast.

Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

More precisely, this will be going live late Sunday evening eastern time such that it is active Monday morning for European clients as well.

This is now live for all clients as of 7:25pm eastern. Going forward, clicks will contribute to opens in activity and reports.

Cheers,

Hey everyone,

Thanks again for this! I wanted to clarify that this will also apply to plug-in emails?

I know we don't currently track email opens on plug-in emails, but now we will assume an open on emails with clicks, correct?

Thanks!
Katherine

Yes, this same logic applies to clicks on links rewritten via the email plugins as well.
