Dear Prof. Sainik Som,
This is in continuation to our discussion on aforesaid subject, I would reiterate here that Tata Sponge Iron has implemented 31 projects during FY’15 such as construction/ repairing of Anganwadi centers/ Schools; installation of hand-pumps/ drinking water supply projects; repairing/ construction of roads; education by using technology; plantation; etc… under various sectors as prescribed under Schedule-VII by Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
We would like to undertake an assessment study on the effectiveness/ output of these initiatives (it is too early in many cases to assess the impact) we have implemented during last financial year.
We would request, if your team could finish the entire process i.e. field study and report writing within 10 days, starting from 6th May 2015, would be great. Same time, I would request you to let us know the professional fee for this activity.
Today, I along with CFO of TSIL will have a telecom with you to take this forward.

Many thanks for your prompt response. To take it forward, we would like to suggest to consider following dimensions while taking up the study.
- Selection criteria of the projects
- Implementation processes e.g. selection of beneficiaries (target population), location of activities, beneficiaries involvement, etc.
- Benefit/ Outcome of the project:
o Analysis/ Findings with few case-studies or anecdotes
o Brief write-up depicting the issue/ problem/suffering in the absence of implemented project
o …….
- Sustainability and Handing over of the projects to the appropriate institutions (Govt., Private, PRI Members, Community, etc.)
- Visibility to Tata Sponge (Strategic importance)
May I request to inform us about your professional charges? Actually we are looking to complete this assignment by 20th May 2015.

- Project Proposal stating the objectives and likely outcome
