This was posted on a Medford Facebook page, it may be of interest:

"West Medford Break ins
A 3 person team has been committing residential break ins throughout
our West Medford Community.
Apparently the two women ring your door bell to see if your home. If
you answer they ask if you need estimates on construction work. If
there is no answer the women stand lookout while their male partner
breaks in and burglarizes your home. If you have a spare vehicle or
anything you can do to make your home look occupied it is probably
helpful. If we all keep an eye out and call the police on suspicious
persons - maybe we can get these thugs off our streets."
