Dear Barbara,

Thank you for all you have done to help us move forward on this traffic safety project for Winthrop Street in Medford.  

I think we were all impressed with Howard Muise's presentation, insight, and recommendations.  But we are also grateful to you for arranging this study -- which benefits all concerned -- and for bringing us together at City Hall.  Mayor McGlynn's insight into the history of this busy traffic way, coupled with VHB's thorough, thoughtful research, gives us much-needed information to make the informed and sensible planning decisions our community needs.

To that end, may we prevail upon you for an electronic version of the original VHB report?  I've already given one printout to Rep. Sciortino on his way to the bus stop at the corner of Orchard and Winthrop; he was very pleased to hear of our progress.

Thank you again, Barbara, it is a pleasure working with you.  We look forward to keeping in touch.
