Thanks Susan! You seem to have captured it well.

I would only note that the two last bullets under infrastructure improvements might belong under signage instead (regarding no U-turns and a movable structure in the middle of the street (I'm partial to the narrow pedestrian crossing signs rather than the big orange block, aesthetically.)

I might be interested in being part of a group to talk to the school administration about *adding a bus stop* at Winthrop Street & Orchard - which is also at an MBTA stop, and would prevent all of the children from the Marshall and Orchard Street neighborhood from having to cross Winthrop Street at all. Moreover it would help to strengthen the case for a raised crossing by the church.

I will echo the others in thanking Susan for this compilation, it's a great summary of what we needed to move to the next step(s).

I'd hate to leave off the list the idea (Roberta's?) regarding a study of the neighborhood traffic patterns. Naturally, that should be excluded in the $40k allocated to improve Winthrop Street, but it merits further discussion and would certainly improve the quality of life for those of us who live directly off of Winthrop.
