Hi Team Everest,

We are on the final countdown with only four more days until our ride.  I wanted to follow up with a few important points for all:
  • Packet pick-up is from 5:30-7:00am.  Included in your packet, you will receive your housing information, wristband for food/beer at Mass Maritime, luggage tags and transportation ticket for Sunday afternoon (either bus or party boat, depending on what you signed up for)
  • We still have 8 team members who have not reached the required minimum fundraising goal as of yesterday.  If you have pending donation/matches, please reach out to Jen Dowdy (jennife...@nmss.org) to expedite packet pick up
  • For those who reached $1000 or more in fundraising, you will receive an extra beer ticket this year and discounted registration for CCG 2025. The perks for fundraising over $1500 are even greater!  INCENTIVE to get out there and fundraise!!
  • Transportation - the society has informed us that Barry, Alan, and Chris Trapp did not purchase return transportation.  Please let us know ASAP if this is needed or not.
  • Wheels start rolling at 7:30 Saturday morning.  Leanne and I will plan to be at BCBS around 6:30am.  Please look for us in the VIP parking lot.  Black Q8 Audi with BIKEMS plate.  We have a Team Everest corral where we will stage at the start and roll out together
  • We have our own tent again this year.  Leanne and I will supply beverages/snacks for all
  • We have secured our own team massage therapist.  Jenn Haley will be awaiting to relieve our sore legs when we roll into Mass Maritime on Saturday afternoon.  Jenn is volunteering her time to us.  Please bring cash to tip her for the massages.  Let's make sure she has a good time, makes a lot of money and wants to return to us again next year.  Post COVID, it has been very difficult to find anyone who is willing to do this anymore. $20 is usually a reasonable tip, but it might be worth more
  • In honor of celebrating the 40th anniversary of the CCG ride, the society has hired "That 80's Band" playing 80's music from 1:30-4:30pm on Saturday.  For those of us who like to dance, this will be a driver to finish day one quickly
