Hi Team Everest,

Some of you have seen the weather forecast for Sunday, the rest of us are probably better off not looking.  The current forecast is for rain with possible thunderstorms andthe potential for hail.

We just talked to the society, and as of now, Day 2 is still scheduled as planned.  The decision by the society to cancel day two will likely be made at the last minute.  It will be based on the presence of lightning.

If there's no lightning, just the forecast rain and 70-80 degree temps, the ride will go on as planned.  The 17-19 mph SW winds will propel us, even if the forecast gusts to 32mph can be a challenge (or a power-up.)

This is all that we know right now, and if we hear more before the ride we'll let you know.  As of now, Leanne and I are contemplating contingency plans, as sleeping at MMA only to get up and get on a bus back to Quincy doesn't sound ideal.

Saturday looks great for riding...

Ed

Good morning!

Ed and I are running late. Look for Nathan when you get to the start. We will be there a little after 7:00.
