You might be requesting this sarcastically, but I think it could be a good idea.  Would get the name of the group in front of the eyes of some pretty influential folks.   Might even come in handy to have a representative from the group be able to steer the technology as well.

I was wondering about funding, actually. We just took on the BlogCFC domain, and while GoWest is generously providing the hosting, the domain name is up for renewal in a few weeks (and Ray did transfer those to me).

We built a store where members could help support things like domain renewals and other associated fees - however the only person who ever bought anything from it was me :)

Having said that... if there are expenses that need to be covered by TCFA please connect with me offline and I'll pony up the cash for them. I have no qualms spending a few extra $$ as needed to ensure TCFA maintains any assets we inherit or create.
