Hi

Need a quick reasonable decision for Stalls - not necessarily the most ideal one !

Facts as of now :

1. Ambala / Swad not interested in Stall (3 - 4 hrs of business, 100 families, 50 GBP charge is not making too much of a proposition for them !)
2. Folks spoke to Ambala and they do not do packaged sweet/snacks that they can take back if not sold (guess Swad/Santosh will also say the same)
3. Few of participants interested in managing a stall - thinking of making some home-made sweets and putting on stall

Options :

1. Forget about commercial stall
2. Let interested participants manage it end-to-end
3. They can get (a) Home stuff (raw materials to paid by CBC) (b) buy Samosas/Sweets from Ambala / Swad / Santosh (paid by CBC)
4. Samosas - 50 (@ 50p or 75p) & Sweets - 50 (@ 50 p or 75p)
5. They also manage Tea
6. All sales till break-even comes back to CBC, profit goes to folks who manage the stall

Let me know if this sounds ok to you all !

Cheers
Saurav

Modified version -

1. CBC will buy Samosa (only samosa)
2. Ambala Samosa @ 75 p (60 pieces)
3. CBC buys and sells them
4. CBC buys tea raw material, sauce for samosa
5. profit / loss all with CBC
6. volunteers required only to manage the stall

Cheers
Saurav

Hi,

Who is managing the stall? Do we have a name or 1 person doing it with Kids...

Do we have a volunteer, if not lets go with Saurabh's idea, Subir wants to do it and let the profit belong to the kids who run it.
