Gomic Life Project

Happy ELA Assessment Day!  I wanted to get this out earlier but having problems logging on at home…

Just a heads-up that the first quiz grade of 4th quarter will be a Comic Life project about westward expansion. Students will be doing all the work in class this week on laptops in our classroom. We start today and it is due Friday. Unless they are sick/absent, I will grade the project based on what they have completed in class by the end of the week. Please remind your student that life (and other classes) goes on despite NYS assessments. 

3rd quarter grades were handed out last week. Many of you have signed them for a 4th quarter grade. If not, ask your student so they can get some points in the book for this quarter. I also reminded students that this quarter goes by really fast, in part because I start end-of-year review around June 1st. They need to get off to a fast start with quizzes and completed assignments because there will be fewer opportunities to raise grades once we have started review.
