First I give credit where Credit is Due.
This is taken from a Chabad Handout entitled "Jewish Insights."

I also Praise Hashem. where the Most Praise is due.
In abbriviated form, My writing taken from Chabad deals with a "Jewish
Goodbye".

All of Us Yiden have experienced a Jewish Goodbye.
We say Goodbye but Never leave!
We Hug Zeides and Bubbes, Our Friends and we stay at a Simcha for at
least 20 minutes after we say Goood bye.

In Israel they say "L Hitrot " See You later.

Later Gator "My words.LOL.
You see we know deepdown that we will all be runited with our loved
ones in the era of the Redemption. We will see the fullfillment of one
of the the principles of Jewish Belief....
The revival of the dead.
And at that time we will all be reunited with our loved ones.
And when we rejoice in being together again with them, we will fully
understand why we never really said, "good-bye."
