Dear all,
As part of celebrations of Swami Vivekananda's 150th birth anniversary
year, Samwad and GRA (Group for Rural Activities) are organising a "Sewa
Interaction" session. These sessions are meant to give an opportunity for
students to interact with people, who devoted their lives for betterment
of the society. They would give you an idea of the challenges faced by our
society, how different Sewa projects work and know the strength of these
social workers.
This week on Thursday 9th feb, we are going to have one such session with
Mr. Vijay Jadhav, who established "Samatol Foundation". Samatol foundation
works for street children who often lead their miserable lives as beggars,
child labour and drug addicts due to lack of proper guidance and poverty.
Samtol provides temporary shelter Home for them, conducts De-addiction &
'Man-Parivartan' camps, and reunites them with their families.

“Then only will India wake, when hundreds of large-hearted men and women,
giving up all desires of enjoying luxuries of life, will long and exert
themselves to their utmost, for the well-being of the millions of their
countrymen.”
