Lecture to celebrate 150th Anniversary of P.C Ray

Samvad, in association with GRA(Group for Rural Activities) is organising a lecture to celebrate the 150th birth anniversary(August 2) of Acharya Prafulla Chandra Ray. This year also coincides to be the "International Year of Chemistry" to celebrate the achievements of chemistry and its contributions to the well being of humankind. Topic:- Acharya Prafulla Chandra Ray, a Scientist Saint ('Scientist Saint' was coined by Gopal Krishna Gokhale.) Speaker:- Dr. P. Banerjee, Director of NISTADS (National Institute of Science Technology and Development Studies) Date:- August 2 (Tuesday) Time:- 5:30 to 6:30 Venue:- IRCC Auditorium
