Dear friends,
12th January 2013 is the 150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, a
great social reformer and spiritual leader of Modern India. He is
popularly known for Vedanta movement which now has spread all over the
world. In the context of India, his contribution for uplifting of masses
through education, poverty alleviation and women empowerment is
unforgettable. To commemorate his efforts towards development of India
as a world leader and world teacher (vishwa guru), we will celebrate his
150th birth anniversary year with many activities in our institute.
These activities will be oriented towards youth empowerment, which
essentially is a character building, and also towards social service,
which is necessary for nation building.
I am attaching a pamphlet of the activities planned. If you have any suggestions, you can tell me.
We need volunteers for various activities. If you have any particular interest, let me know. Even if
you don't know and are willing to contribute feel free to contact me.
