Maker Faire needs help in its "Learn How To Solder" area. Visitors pay a
dollar (or did in the past - maybe that's changed) for a small badge
consisting of a circuit board, LED, and battery clip. If you have
soldered once you are good enough, and you will certainly be great by
the end of the day.

Maker Faire attracted 100,000 visitors last year, and the "Learn How To
Solder" are will be busy all day. You personally could easily help
hundreds of visitors.

Maker Faire is incredible, and by far the best way to experience Maker
Faire is to be involved. This is a great opportunity to see people's
eyes light up when they insert the battery and the LED starts blinking,
and they will thank you for showing them how to make it.

You will have time to experience the fair as well, but I don't precisely
how it's being organized. To sign up, and for any questions, please contact:

she...@oreilly.com

and please put SOLDERING in the subject.

The Maker Faire staff are wonderful to work with, and the entire
atmosphere is very festive. This is a family-friendly event, and you
should encourage your family and friends to come as well.
