Gray Area Foundation for the Arts has partnered with a few local
organizations and is in the midst of planning for a city-wide,
experimental design and technology festival in October. They will need
lots of volunteers.


"Urban Prototyping: San Francisco <http://sf.urbanprototyping.org/>
focuses on replicable digital and physical urban interventions that
explore new possibilities in public space. Every project produced will
be open source, publicly documented, and replicable in any city in the
world."

They have just completed the Open Call for Projects and have announced
selected projects:

They will need volunteers for the street festival on October 20th and
21st. The role of volunteers has yet to be defined, but will probably
include a number of various opportunities.
