Hello Makers,

I wanted to let you know about Workshop Weekend: Arduino that will
happen July 13th and 14th in San Francisco. This is put on by the
Workshop Weekend guys, JD and Gil, and I, along with other local Arduino
experts, will be teaching.

If not you, perhaps you might know others who might be interested.
Please pass this on.

All the information is below including a $50 discount code (though it
expires end of day Friday so you will have to use it fast!). Hope to see
you there.

Registration for Workshop Weekend: Arduino has opened! Join
us on July 13th and 14th as we take you from Arduino rookie
to whiz in 15 hours over two days!

Arduino is an open electronics platform designed for
artists, designers, and hobbyists. Here's just a taste of
what kind of stuff you can make using one:
* Arduino Quadcopter: An autonomous flying quadcopter -- use
it to spy on your friends!
* The Inebriator: An automated cocktail mixer -- it won't
ask you for a tip!
* Laser Harp: A futuristic musical harp that forgoes strings
in favor of lasers!
* Secret Knock Door Lock: A door lock that opens only when
the right knowcking pattern is applied!
* RC Lawn Mower: Why break your back in the heat? This lawn
mower is completely autonomous!
* Tweet-A-Watt: A power consumption meter that tweets your
daily electricity consumption.

Unlike past Workshop Weekends, the Arduino weekend is
designed to bring you to a level of deep expertise in one
particular topic, comprehensively leading you through all
the key steps. You don't need to have any experience working
with Arduino, electronics, or programming to attend!

Check out the full schedule and register here:

Also unlike past Workshop Weekends, Saturday's workshops
will be the same for everyone: you'll be guided through
three building block workshops to get you up to speed. On
Sunday, you'll be able to work on your own projects with our
team of expert mentors present to give you a hand, while
also enrolling in your choice of advanced workshops on
topics such as advanced programming, working with audio,
motors and movement, and LCD character displays.

Check out the full schedule and register here:

Use the coupon code ARDUINOEARLY713 for $50 off admission!
This code is valid through Friday, June 28th.

And please reach out to us if you have any questions at all!

I hope we'll see you there!

Warmly,
J.D., Rolf, Michael, Malcolm, Lee, Andrew, and the Arduino
Weekend team
