Career path in environmental management / Gauri P.

hey vijay..

my name is gauri pethe,and i got to know about you from a friend.i had
a few queries i wanted to clear about my field.i've finished my
graduation (BSc. in environmental studies) from fergusson
college,pune.i plan on doing an MBA but would ideally like to get into
environmental management.i see myself working for an energy related
corporate company(maybe suzlon,biocon or the likes) sometime in the
future.However i have no clue how to begin or where to start in order
to get there.i would be working with a few NGO's this summer and do
projects in solid waste management and related fields.Also Symbiosis
(siib,pune) has recently launched an MBA-energy and environment degree
specially for env,biotech or science graduates but i am a little
apprehensive since its the first batch so not sure about the course
structure or faculty,though the subjects do sound very interesting.i
would definitely like to apply but another issue if the campus
placements are good or not since its a new course.Studying abroad is
also an option though i dont really know of any good universities
offering an environmental management degree.

i would really appreciate any suggestions or advice as to what to do
next!
