Hi Vijay,
Have a proposition, we as a company are helping an NGO craft a
proposition for government run schools in India, was wonering if the
group will be keen to actually visit these school and inculcate the
critical reasoning into these children.
I personally feel this could be a step change opportunity for the
group, but lets discuss. If there is a number i can reach you will
call you.
Thanks
Jyoti

possibly of interest to those based in India? personally, i'd be a
little wary of trying to spread these ideas in government schools;
the
needs and priorities of those students might be different. but i do
see potential. anyone who would like to work with government schools
should definitely get in touch with jyoti on facebook.
let me know if you think jyoti's email is of general interest to the
group.

I had one question in my mind for so many years by now.

Do we really understand what are educational Policies of India?
There must be some budget allocated at the start of the 5-year
programme.
However, I am not aware of the fact that what amount is allocated for
what, as I dont understand economics much more.

But, I would surely be interested if anyone working in Finance could
understand that what money is allocated for schools and how does it
reaches to them.

Thanks,
Raj.
