You should have seen the following mail by Sridhar [ CEO, Nirmaan Org ] in the main group. But I want to make a stronger notice about the same. 

This will be an opportunity for you to assess, analyse the education system in India. It will trigger more ideas that can be implemented in our own projects. 

Special appeal to the first yrs, since most of you might be free in the vacation and you have had a great experience on Nirmaan Educational projects in the last one year! Come forward and take the opportunity.

Dear Nirmaanites, 

I have addressed this mail to people who have worked intensively at the grassroot level in Nirmaan and understand the challenges we face everyday. Also, the Central Committee has taken up an initiative to guide the chapters in Curriculum Development for their respective projects. Our interns Shariq, Navdeep and Priya will be working on the following aspects. 

Present Scenario of Indian Education System:

a) India Year Book

b) Pratham ASER Report 

c) Study Material & Training by Adhya on Curriculum and Instruction. 

Nirmaan's Self Preparation

a) Nirmaan's Approach towards Education - Goal of Education Projects and Scope of Interventions

b) Study of the needs of the communities in different chapters of Nirmaan

c) Study of the projects Nirmaan has taken up till date. 

c) Develop suitable framework and curriculum  for the projects in different chapters.

We wish that this break-through project will give a strong definition and focus to all the Nirmaan projects. 

Criteria to be in the team:

a) Good Experience in Nirmaan Education Projects

b) Interest and Committment.

c) 8 - 10hrs per week. 

d) Should be proactive with Emails and Telephone Calls. 

e) Should be able to give time till July 15th, 2012.
