STEM means Science, Technology, Engineering, Math. I believe they include
Computer Science under this umbrella. Virtually every university offers
degrees in math. There are durn few jobs specified for math graduates. I
used to have a relative that used his GI benefits to earn a Math degree.
After he found out that it did not get him any jobs, he went back and got a
real degree. People with Masters degrees in Math are probably good at
Algebra. Not much demand for that.

such a degree, so the numbers would not be unmanageable . Obviously there
would have to be verification of applicants, perhaps an exam, and interview,
as with any hiring. A small problem actually.
