Final Meeting

Dear Tea Friends,

TEAgether would like to have one more tea meeting before the
quarter ends. Since final examinations and term papers are coming up,
we realize that you are all very busy. However, we would like to have
a small meeting in the early afternoon or evening of the Saturday
before Finals Week, i.e. December 4th, so that we can relax together
and enjoy some tea to rest our minds after intensive studying.
If there be any interest, then we hope a few of you might like to
join us. Please let us know so that we can plan accordingly!

Thank you for your inviting us!

 

I just want you know that my husband and I probably cannot make it due to the time conflict.  I am doing my observation in a Chinese school which is located in Illinois. And all of the schools in Illinois, including this Chinese school, have scheduled their thanksgiving break from Nov.20-Nov.28. During the break, I don't need to drive for my observation and I can stay in OSU with my husband during the weekends. As a result, My husband and I are only available during the weekends of Nov.20-21 and Nov.27-28

 

After that, I need to continue my observation and travel back and forth on weekends until 12/12.

 

I am not sure if you will have TEAparty after 12/12. If you have, I will be there for sure.

Hi, Marshall!

I am sorry that I cannot make it to our final meeting because I am
flying back to China on Dec. 3.

I am thinking if you, Sherb and I can have a small meeting some time
this weekend to talk about our plan for the next quarter. I want to
share with you the information packet that I got from the training.

To my understanding, winter break is the valuable chance for out-of-town students to go back and visit their 

family members. Due to the high-peak prices of the air ticket during Christmas season, most of them will have to 

leave as early as possible once the quarter ends.

To Hsiao-feng: thank you for replying, and don't worry about not being
able to make it on the fourth. I will be returning home for Christmas
Break, so I can not attend any gatherings until school resumes in
January. I can not speak for Sherab, but if you want to have a tea
gathering during the Break, then I'm sure he will do his best to
organize one.

To Yunyan: I understand many of our Chinese members (not
incidentally, most the organization) are returning to China during the
Break, but this last meeting is directed particularly towards those
who will be taking their finals the following week so that they might
relax in a relatively informal setting and enjoy some tea. As to a
meeting to discuss your treasurer's packet, I will be out of town for
Thanksgiving Break, but I will return this Sunday and can try to meet
with you and Sherab during the following week. I'll try to get in
touch with you before next week to schedule a meeting.

I will be out of town for Thanksgiving this weekend and will not come back to Columbus until next Monday. So I am available next Monday night (after 7:00), Tuesday and Wesnesday, and Thursday afternoon (after 5:00). I am leaving for China on Friday morning (Dec. 3). So please let me know if we can meet during these times.
