Dear TEAgethers,
It's been a while that some of us are seriously discussing about the
formation of an OSU student organization for tea cultures. And now it
is time to realize this idea!
My intention of all past tea gathering events was not only for my own
interests in tea and a holistic lifestyle, but also for students like
you to take the lead in such activities, which I believe are
meaningful in enriching your academic life at the university and
developing leadership and team work skills.
There are certainly many benefits of making our group an official
university student organization: not only to obtain funding from the
Union to organize campus wide events, but also as a student
organization, we can access to more resources and have more exchanges
with other cultural groups.
For all of you who are interested, please show up in this weekend
TEAgether. Or, optionally, if you can not make up to the meeting this
time, PLEASE do response to this message to indicate your interest of
being part of the organization.
AGENDA
1. Marshall is preparing a draft of constitution and will bring it to
the meeting for discussion and feedbacks.
2. Elect president, vice president, treasurer, adviser, and other
officers.
3. Decide the date to register our group on the Student Organization
Union.
TIME
Sunday (5/23) afternoon 3 to 5 PM
VENUE
Whetstone Park of Rose, at the white colored wedding pavilion, which
is located at the corner near the Herb Garden and right in front of
the large rose bed area.
