PPIV Convener 2014

HI All,

We spoke earlier in the year about opening up orgcomm positions for the PPIV. Warren has shown interest in convening/ His message reads: "I would like to formally apply to be the tournament convener for PPIV 2014.

I intend to establish an orgcomm within two weeks of today, to have preliminary preparations done before we return next semester so that one we are back, the majority of the work will already be done.

I have some ideas that I'd like to play around with for the tournament, as well attempting to test my organisational and administrative capabilities."

I am willing and feel most Exec members may be willing to vote without further motivation? Please vote in favour; against or in abstention by latest 8pm tonight. If you have further questions or would like further motivation please also view those opinions. I herewith open voting.

Thank you. I too vote in favour for Warren. Please hold opinions on Prenil's application - the policy around other orgcomm members appointment will be made in connection with the convener, and therefore these positions ratified or appointed (by Exec if needbe) separately after the convener position is set.

With quorum and majority reached: Warren is appointed as Tournament Convener.
