Sick of eating MRE style meals, Hanson decides that it is about time to get the mess stocked with "real" food.

In his quest for something edible Hanson heads off to rummage through the cargo the food stores.

As he opens the door he realizes that something is wrong. His eyes fall on a body sprawled on the floor. The body is wearing one of the Bellerophon vacuum suits. Just as he is registering the scene he realizes that something is not right with the air.

"Sabotage!" he gasps as he puts it all together. Hanson considers his options; alert the crew or check on the downed crew member?

"If someone had waited for help to come I could have lost more than my legs, lucky for me there was a hero around." he thinks to himself.

Steeling himself, Hanson mutters "My turn to be the hero" as he takes a deep breath and charges in to drag the fallen person to safety.

IC: Gary Larson

When I can’t hold on anymore, I let go. I drift. I fly. I settle down. I coast down. But I don’t drift away. I stay exactly where I am. Just here. Nowhere to go. Just here. I can only settle here. I fight it at first. Try to push it away. But it keeps coming back. I’ve been awake for so long. So long. I just want to close my eyes, and sleep for fifteen years. Like I should have. I should have slept. Maybe I wasn’t tired. But I am. I want to drift away and never come back. I want to fall asleep and never wake up.

And so, I fall. I sleep. I sleep with no dreams. When I’m awake, I dream. When I sleep, I don’t. Maybe being asleep is my normal state. Maybe when I sleep I’m actually awake, and when I’m awake, that’s me dreaming, and so, sleeping. How interesting of a question…

When I awake, I’m slipping. Slipping and drifting. But not into sleep. Far away from it. I’m dragging myself. Crawling. My feet start to kick up as I try to stand. Something’s wrong. Something’s very wrong. Why was I in there? What was I doing?

The ship. The ship is in danger.

We’re all in danger.

The ice.

I need to wake the crew.

[OOC: Gary starts to trash about erratically, trying to grab a hold of anything as Hanson is dragging him]

Hanson redoubles his effort as the body he is hauling out of the room starts going into spasms.

Now he knows that the body is still alive but is not sure how much longer till it succumbs to what ever toxic gas was released in the room.

"Buddy, it looks like the old Hanson luck brought me to this room just in time, hang in there just a bit longer. It'll be ok." Hanson says to the body he's struggling with (while trying to keep from inhaling).

[OOC]

Let me know if Hanson can manage to get Larson pulled out of the room to what he might consider a "safe" distance.

Larson overpowers Hanson, knocking him over in the process. Larson
makes it out of the door and slams it closed, resealing it and leaving
Hanson trapped inside.

[OOC] Locked in a storage room. Holy McGruber, Batman

[IC]
Hanson pops open the panel to the door controls and attempts to use his smartphone to override the lock.

He fails.

Hanson keys up his communicator "I kind of have a situation here in Cargo Room 6-310"

From Major Foss: Attention everyone, there is a delusional crew
member loose on hab 6, deck 3. He must be stopped before he does any
damage.

Jorgensen mutters to himself, "Nå, jeg gætte denne dag er ikke, efter at alle"*, then, making sure that he has his knife with him, he heads up to deck 3.

[ooc]

If he encounters Larson on the way, he will attempt to deal with him. Otherwise, he will go to 6-310 and make sure that whoever is trapped within is released.

What happened? What was that just there? What was that just here now and there?

No time. No time. Too little time. Not enough time to spare. Can’t stop to think because there’s no time. I wish I had time. Maybe if I got more than one watch I’d have more time. But then, what is time. I experienced 15 years of loneliness. Outside, more than 1200 years have gone by. Am I 15 years older, or 1200 years older.

No time. Hurry hurry. If I stay too long in one spot, I’ll get cold. Cold like ice. Cold like ice water. Like debris from a comet.

The ship.

Have to wake the crew up!

[OOC: Gary will go into the closest hibernation chamber and start waking people up, randomly :P]

Not more NPCs!  You're going to run into Larson when the elevator stops on Deck 3, he's just about to get on when you're about to get off.

This one, I've seen. I've seen a few times. Maybe it was one that was similar. Maybe he's got more time than I do.

"Hello there. Would you have some time to lend?"

[OOC: Gary will casually get inside the elevator]

I smile at it. Compared to the other ones, it seems much calmer. Must be my submissive side expressive itself.
I get into the elevator, and hit the button for the hibernation deck.

"Just time. More time. I don't have enough of it."

I usually avoid looking at them, but I still look at this one.

"I wouldn't have an extra watch on me, would I?"

I don’t know which elevator we are in, I am assuming Elevator 4.

[ic]

Jorgensen looks at Larson’s wrists, while quickly typing a text message to Foss.  “Larson in Elevator 4, heading to deck 2, have under observation.”

He then turns to Larson. “No, no extra watch.  What are you to do?”

The elevator doors open on Deck 2 instead of the intended destination, to reveal Lou Donovan waiting outside.  In a single quick motion, Lou Donovan reaches forward and injects Larson with a tranquilizer.  He catches Larson as he starts to slump.  "Can you help me carry him to Sickbay?"

Jorgensen replies, “Yes”.

He then grabs Larson’s feet and waits for Donovan to lead him to sickbay.
