About the Position
The South Washington Watershed District (SWWD) is seeking a Water Resources Program Coordinator. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, competitive pay and PTO, ongoing education and training, and an opportunity to quickly grow a portfolio of diverse watershed management experience.
The Water Resources Program Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating work within SWWD’s aquatic and natural resource programs, information and outreach, and others depending on experience and interest. Specific work will include managing AIS control efforts, implementing land cover restoration projects, coordinating SWWD’s experiential education and campus greening programs, and development of infographics and other materials to engage District residents and partners. The position will include oversight of District consultants and contractors. This position will also support District monitoring, regulatory, planning, and agriculture best management practice program areas, depending on experience and interests. The ideal candidate will be creative and organized, comfortable working independently and as part of a small team, and experienced in engaging partners and collaborators.
