Monitoring equipment asset management system?

Does anyone use an asset management system that you like to keep track of all of your monitoring equipment (serial numbers, maintenance needs, etc.) and their deployment locations?  While spreadsheets work I’d like to have a database system and our organization does not have its own enterprise asset management system.
