Hi Awesome Team!
We held our first monthly meeting on 9/13th in which we discussed the next steps for the team and watched a video to discuss about the subtitle translations used in the video. The take away from the meeting are as follows:
1. Rewording and focusing on critical meanings can simplify the English translation into easily digestible articles
2. Make complex cultural phrases into as basic as possible for readers not to get hung up on one point
I'll be in the process of organizing articles with Hui Ying and will send out an email with articles to translate this week. We would love to see more people show up at the next meeting! If you are in Ann Arbor there'll be food like last time (choice of food pending for next meeting).
