Dear translators and editors,

 

Thank you for your dedication and hard work thus far, your help has made so many Tzu Chi stories available to our families in many countries including Phillipines, South Africa, Thailand and Indonesia.

Right now, it is more crucial than ever that all of us delve deeply into Master's teachings, improve our character and lead the change for good wherever we are.

 

There is a project that needs all of you and your fellow Tzu Chings' help.

We are helping translate and edit a book entitled "Returning to our Pure Nature" as a project of the young generation.

 

If you can commit to help translate a few stories, please reply to me and I will invitte Peggy to upload the stories onto our platform.

 

Again, I thank you all, for your time and dedication, on behalf of all the Tzu Chi family around the world, who could be or have been inspired by your work in helping spread good teachings around the world.

 

 

Message from Peggy:

Hi Tzu Ching and Tzu Ching alumni,

We are hoping to translate and edit one of the new books, 回歸清淨本性, with Tzu Ching and Tzu Ching alumni and present it to Master Cheng Yen as a project of young people as part of our efforts to bring Dharma into our hearts and our actions.

There are 70 stories in total and we have about 6 stories translated so far. To have the book published next year, we need to finish our translation by the end of January. Each story is fairly short, about 1-1.5 pages and I think each can be translated in about 2-3 hours. If you're not confident in your English/Chinese, you can team up with someone else to work on it together.

I feel like translation is a great way to internalize Master's teachings and her stories contain her most memorable teachings. So, this is a great spiritual practice.
