           Dearest friends & family members,

 

Many people have been inquiring as to the status of Chana Leah's condition. Until this past Friday, Oct 11, the same answer has been forthcoming -- no change. However, since Friday, and over this past weekend, it is with tremendous gratitude to Hashem that we can share the following update. And please forward this message to anyone you had contacted to say tehillim and daven for Chana Leah's refuah shlaymah.

 

On Friday, Chana Leah began moving her right hand and foot, and also scratching the right side of her head where the surgical stitches are located (ouch!).

On Shabbos, the same movements continued in addition to her crossing her legs.

On Sunday, more of the same activity. 

On Monday, she responded for the 1st time to commands from the phys.therapist: "Lift up your hand; stick out your tongue" to which she complied. 

 

There is no question in our minds that all of our individual and collective tefillos, and the chassadim and/or mitzvos everyone has undertaken as zchusim for Chana Leah's refuah, are connected to her steps of progress. Please, please continue your davening for her complete refuah shlaymah b'karvov u'vneikel.
