TCS t-shirts

Hello everyone,

For the first time ever (since we've been here anyway :P), we will be having a Theoretical Computer Science t-shirt (PFA the design of the tshirt). We want to do this to celebrate being a part of the TCS research community and also to have a memento from our time here at IITM which we can proudly show the world (or at least our friends :D). So please do utilize this opportunity to be a part of the TCS legend here at IITM. Please find attached the design for the t-shirt. The cost of which is Rs.245/-. Since we are required to give a 100% advance for any t-shirts we buy, please pay the money for the t-shirt (or make arrangements for it to be paid) to Prateek Barapatre [in TCS lab, email id can be found in cc list] by 28th March 2011. Let's show a lot of unity, remember our time here, and look good with this t-shirt.

Could you please spread the message and forward it to your other lab-mates/advisors/friends who might be interested.

There seemed to be questions regarding the quality of the shirt by a few people.
So, for the benefit all, here's what we are looking to order:

180 GSM , Super Fine Combed Cotton , Soft Flow Dyed , Color Fastness upto 50 c , Pre - Shrunked .
Color: Navy blue

The current cost, is assuming we have 40-50 orders. For the same quantity, if we want a higher quality (200 GSM) it costs about Rs.15/- more. If want the shirt in black then it costs a further Rs.10/-. We felt that the present choice seemed keep in mind a balance on the cost and our preferences.

We would like to inform you that, for those of you who do not wish to have the line in Tamil (which translates to theoretical computer science), we are happy to announce that it is possible for us to get both, t-shirts with and without the tam words. So, we have extended our deadline to 30th March (tomorrow). So please make sure you give your orders, mentioning your preference to the tam line and size ASAP to Prateek Barapatre [in TCS lab].
