Dear subhashini,

This may also be posted across for all the students..

The joy of algorithms is aimed at provoking the thinking gene in listeners and tell what a typical text book will not tell a reader... The topics to be discussed may overlap, in parts, with the contents of a typical algorithms course, but the treatment is not!.. The prerequisites are, open mind, enthusiasm, willing to think and a bit of taste in learning and academic adventures...If YOU have inclination, I have time!!!!!..

This is a loosely structured and a freely formatted lecture series primarily aimed to let you discover the
"unusual" in you.. Walk in strictly to enjoy... to enjoy knowing and learning...

Let the journey begin -- on 16th August 8.00 pm ...

PS 1. Do not arrive late .. PS2. Do not chat in the class with neighbours.Specifically, do not bounce your thoughts on your neighbour or convert him /her as a consultant!!!..

cheers.. Pandu Rangan

Venue: BSB-361

(Please note that in case the room is insufficient then we will move to CS-36, so if u happen to get delayed and find BSB-361 empty you should come to CS-36)

Thanks,

HI,

I am sorry about the inconvenience caused by the small seminar hall. Will arrange for a larger classroom for the next lecture.

Blog:
I thought we could probably start a blog where we put up problems discussed and also some additional problems; this would keep a record of stuff and may also help in discussion.
I was wondering if any blog supports comments to be in latex.

Suggestions and volunteers (to maintain the blog) are welcome.

Thanks,

A better option would be to use a wiki. wikidot supports latex -
