Dear T-Coffee Support Team,

I hope this email finds you well. My name is Diego Mendiluce, and I am a student at the University of Valladolid in Spain currently working on my final degree project focused on sequence alignment.

I am reaching out to inquire about the feasibility of utilizing the T-Coffee algorithm for multiple sequence alignment directly from R. My primary interest lies in integrating T-Coffee's alignment capabilities into my research workflow.

I would like to know if there is a way to implement the T-Coffee algorithm within the R environment for conducting multiple sequence alignments. While I have also considered the option of using Python, specifically through the Biopython package that I discovered online, my primary preference would be to work from R.

I would greatly appreciate any guidance or resources you can provide on how to use the T-Coffee algorithm from R for sequence alignment. Your knowledge and advice would be invaluable in advancing my research project.

Thank you in advance for considering my inquiry. I look forward to your response and appreciate your assistance.

Best regards,

Diego
